CLE:

Wednesday’s Program: This course has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of 2.00 hours of CLE credit, all of which can be applied to the legal ethics/professional responsibility requirement. We have applied to the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for approval for the following specialty fields: Administrative Law; Civil Trial Law; Civil Appellate Law; Oil, Gas and Mineral Law; and Real Estate Law.

Thursday and Friday’s Programs: This course has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of 11.75 hours of CLE credit, of which 1.00 hour can be applied to the ethics requirement. We have applied to the Texas Board of Legal Specialization For approval for the following specialty fields: Administrative Law; Civil Trial Law; Civil Appellate Law; Oil, Gas and Mineral Law; and Real Estate Law

COURSE MATERIALS: Course materials are online. The online materials will be available for download approximately one week prior to the conference at the section’s website, https://www.texenrls.org/superconference-materials/. A QR code of the website link is printed on your Superconference folder, scan for direct link to the materials.

PARKING: Conference attendees receive a discounted self-parking rate of $ 20/day in the Four Seasons Hotel garage, but parking is very limited. Daily Valet Parking is $22 and Overnight Parking is $50. Information on parking alternatives can be found at www.texenrls.org. Overnight parking for hotel guests is an additional charge.

Cancellation Policy for the SuperConference: Cancellations received by email by 5 pm Central Time on July 14th will receive a full refund. Cancellations received by 5 pm Central Time on July 27th will receive a refund less a $200 cancellation fee.  Cancellations received after 5 pm Central Time on July 27th will not receive a refund, however you can substitute an attendee by notifying us by email by 5 pm Central Time on July 31st. Note: It is the responsibility of the registrant to cancel any hotel reservations and to comply with hotel’s cancellation policy.

The Superconference is offering up to eight registration scholarships for which application may be made until July 7, 2023. These scholarships will reduce the registration fee to the rate applicable to “Government Employees and Students” for the Thursday/Friday program and make the Wednesday afternoon program of no cost. Eligible applicants are full-time employees of registered nonprofit organizations whose job duties directly relate to environmental law and/or policy. Please include in your email application the following information: 1) your name; 2) whether you have received a Superconference scholarship previously, 3) whether you have previously attended Superconference, 4) the name of your organization and its nonprofit status (i.e., 501(c)(3)); and 5) a link to information about your organization. In the event more than eight eligible applicants apply before July 7th, priority will be given to: (1) the first applicant from any of the same nonprofit organization; (2) applicants who have not received a previous Superconference scholarship; (3) those who have not previously attended a Superconference; and (4) those who are employees of a nonprofit organization that has not previously had a representatives attend.
