ENRLS Awards State Agency Internships
The ENRLS summer internship program was expanded this year to add the General Land Office and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, bringing the total law school internships to five. The 2008 internships were awarded to the following law students:
Elise Schneider, Baylor-- General Land Office
William McMillan, South Texas-- Office of Attorney General
Jennifer Hoss, South Texas-- Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
Jennifer Chiang, University of Houston-- Railroad Commission
Marisa Escudero, Loyola University-- Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (Corwin W. Johnson Memorial Internship)

Changes in the Environment
ENRLS Executive Committee member Melissa B. Hagan has joined Union Pacific Railroad Company as Regional Environmental Counsel. She was formerly with the Houston office of Jones Day.
Allison K. Exall, formerly with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP, has recently joined Curran Tomko Tarski LLP in Dallas, as a partner. Exall continues her practice in environmental law and toxic torts.
Monica Jacobs has joined Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP as a partner in the firm's Austn office. She was formerly with Brown McCarroll in Austin.
Thomas Mason has been named General Manager of the Lower Colorado River Authority. More>>
