Education Committee

The mission of the education committee is to provide educational opportunities to environmental lawyers in Texas to help them "be better lawyers." The Chair of the Education Committee is David Klein.

The Section sponsors two CLE conferences a year:

• Environmental Superconference, now in its twenty-second year. 

• The Changing Face of Water Rights in Texas.

Law School Committee

We have a very active program working with the nine Texas Law Schools. The mission of the Law School Committee is to increase communication among Texas law students interested in practicing environmental and natural resources law, law faculty teaching in this area, and the practitioners. Publications Committee

The Section has three premiere publications, the State Bar of Texas Environmental Law Journal, and two treatises, Texas Environmental Law, published by West as part of its Texas Practice Series, and The Essentials of Texas Water Resources, published by Texas Bar Books.
