The Changing Face of Water Rights in Texas was held on June 27-29, 2007 at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. Unique among water conferences, this program emphasizes transaction-focused, practice-oriented topics and materials. Click here for the program.
Featuring the Chairmen of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas Water Development Board, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and Senate and House Natural Resources Committees, the conference highlights cutting-edge issues by the State of Texas's senior policymakers. The conference was kicked off with an optional 2 ½ hour boot camp that covered the fundamentals of groundwater and surface water law.
The program was co-sponsored with the State Bar of Texas's Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section, and draw a diverse audience from the private and public sectors. The Program Co-Chair was Hunter Burkhalter.
